About Allan
Allan’s been mucking about with watercolours for 30 years now.
He’s likes to create paintings that portray humans, plants and animals, and the built environment.
He’s also still trying to understand arcane concepts such as: colour, texture, composition and perspective – the kind of stuff folks learn about in art school.
He is a trained draughtsman and likes to draw lines. He can’t escape drawing lines. Lines, lines, lines, and lines. Oh he’s also obsessed with grids. Grids, grids, and grids. That obsession earned him a bachelor of science degree in architecture.
When he’s not drawing, he’s an associate occupancy planner working in the corporate real estate field.
He continues to practice his craft while straddling that fine line between drawing and painting.
